Point. Hold still. Scan.

Scany is a native iPhone document scanner. It finds the page in the camera, waits until the shot is steady, auto-captures, straightens the perspective, and uploads a PDF to the Google Drive or iCloud folder you choose.

Live page detect

Vision finds the paper in any orientation. No need to square it up to the frame first.

Stabilize and capture

Hold still for a moment. When the page is large enough and sharp, Scany captures automatically.

Cloud-first PDF

Save to Google Drive or iCloud, then clear the local pages. Scany does not keep a document library on the phone.

Why Scany asks for Google Drive

Scany uses Google Sign-In and the Drive API so you can export scans into a folder you pick. It requests only:

Scany does not browse your existing Drive library, does not send Drive contents to advertising systems, and does not keep a copy of your scans after you upload and clear them. See the privacy policy for the full Limited Use disclosure.

You can also save to iCloud Drive. That uses the Apple ID already on the iPhone — no extra Google permission. PDFs show up in the Files app under iCloud Drive → Scany.
